I am still learning all about this Twitter thing, including the power that social networking has to your business and pleasure. But, I could have sworn the whole point of Twitter was to meet and interact with people of like interests. Obviously, that means “tweets”!
Tonight, my new Twitter friend and follower @AlohaArleen was twooted from Twitter for too many tweets! (wow… that was too many “tw’s” in one sentence!) I have to admit it was funny when it was first announced because I really didnt believe it was true. However, when AlohaArleen came back she did indeed say it was. Thankfully, it was only an hour long twooting she received.
Huh? Too many tweets? On Twitter? You’ve got to be kidding me…LOL
I could start quite the ramble on this twooting business, but what’s the point. I would surely be tongue lashed by some out there and I am truly trying to build my Twitter community - not have everyone run to the un-follow button instead…LOL…
So in closing I will just remind you all…
Tweet Carefully Twoo Avoid Getting Twooted!!
PS… Stop by and follow @AlohaArleen if you are not already - she’s a hoot to have on your follow list

As you all know, and being only 3 weeks old, I am obviously new to online marketing. I have taken the advice my parents give others and spent the day reading through marketing forums, trying to pick up tips and tricks. Boy, its overwhelming how much information is out there!
I see people pushing all sorts of ‘make-money-fast-and-get-rich-off-doing-nothing-in-your-pajamas-while-on-a-beach-that-you-drove-to-in-your-new-porsche’ offers. Now I don’t have much money…just a few pennies my brothers gave me for Christmas in my new Winnie The Pooh bank…but I figured I could sneek dad’s credit card if I found something I thought might help me learn faster.
Wow…Was I in for a shock. I googled product #1 to see if I could find a review and the first thing I saw was an ad yelling at me that it was a scam. Or was it? I quickly clicked away, proud of myself for not falling for that supposed “scam”. I then googled product #2 and by golly if I don’t see the exact same thing! Blaring warnings that I should not purchase this product until I read something first and another warning that it could be a scam if I don’t go and read that persons website first too. The same thing happened for product #3 and #4.
This internet place is downright damn scary! It seemed that anything I checked had someone yelling SCAM about it! Can this be right? Is everything for sale a scam? I telepathed my concerns to mom to find out. Here is what she said:
“No Brie dear they are not scams, but some marketers think this is an effective way to market their affiliate products. Scaring potential buyers into feeling they must read a particular website or risk losing their life savings, undershorts AND their first born child, has become the norm.”
The norm?! I don’t understand that personally. In my humble yet young opinion, most people seeking out these products are new to online marketing and truly need help learning. Why on earth would people want to scare the living daylights out of them and make the online marketing industry look like it is completely fully of scammers?
Gesh… I thought that was what the stock market was for…
